Baby stats: We have hit the six month mark!! Baby is the size of cantaloupe, or a G.I Joe.
Symptoms: The back and hip pain is still there. Also, have been super tired lately, unsure if that is due to the pregnancy, the heat or the fact that we moved over the last week?
Total weight gain: Weighed in at 65.4kg so back to my starting weight 🙂 Onwards and upwards from here surely. If I’m being completely honest, I don’t want to put on too much more weight.. if I can max out at around 70kg by the end of my pregnancy then I’ll be happy. I reached 75kg at the end of my first pregnancy, and a good 5 kilos of that was just additional fat, so hoping to keep the extra weight to a minimum.
Maternity clothes: Just some maternity underwear that I purchased a couple of weeks ago. Finding that my regular ones just don’t cut it anymore.
Stretch marks? No new ones. Although the belly is starting to get itchy so trying my hardest to stay hydrated and to keep this belly moisturised!
Workouts: Some walking, but not a lot else. We had moved to a 3 level home so I do make regular trips up and down the stairs on the daily.
Diet: Diet has been ok this week. Might be because we no longer live super convenient to cafe’s, convenience store or even a supermarket. It has done wonders at lowering my chocolate snack intake. On the flip side, I have been having a lot of ice blocks because it is just ridiculously hot here at the moment.
Food cravings: Anything cold.
Gender: Girl 🙂
Labor signs: Um, no….
Belly button in or out? In. My belly button never popped with my last full-term pregnancy, so I’m guessing it won’t this time round either.
Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty good this week. Even considering we moved house and spent a shiteload of money. 2nd trimester is great!
