So here it is. The start of my pregnancy posts for Baby #3. Given that I had a miscarriage a couple of months ago (Baby #2), I’m taking a personal risk starting these posts so early, but what is life without risk? No, on a more honest note I just think it will be interesting to compare the different stages of pregnancy and to see the changes that I’ll be going through.
I wasn’t too sure of the best way to document this as it needs to be something that is not going to require too much effort on my part, so I figure a quick list of preggo specific updates and a bump pic. Or chubby tummy pic as per the below 😦
I’ve have calculated my due date to be 22 March 2017, so that puts me at 5 weeks up the duff as of today. Pretty much have ages to go until Baby #3 is here… le sigh.
P.S: Bit of a disclaimer, I totally hijacked this list from Diary of a Fit Mommy, who I found on Pinterest during my first pregnancy. She is my fit pregnancy inspiration!

Symptoms: Nausea, tiredness (not quite at the fatigue stage just yet, but I feel it brewing), hip aches & pains, breathlessness, dizziness, bloating, general emotional instability.. :(. Oh, and extreme thirst! I wake up 2-3 times a night because I’m super parched and need a drink. I’m also waking up 2-3 times a night to pee because of all the water I’m drinking. Given how early on in the pregnancy I am, I’m surprised at how quickly all these symptoms have hit me this time round. As long as they don’t stick around I guess.
Total weight gain: -600gms. I’ve actually lost weight since I found out last week and I’m hoping to lose another couple of kilos before I start to show. Definitely obtainable. I should probably state that my starting weight is 64.7kg.
Maternity Clothes: No.
Stretch marks? No new ones.
Workouts: Still continuing with the Ashy Bines Booty Challenge for the rest of July and then will start on something more specific to what I will need in the future. Time to draw up another plan 😀
Diet: As always, needs improvement.
Food cravings: Nothing in particular. I actually feel like I’m losing my appetite more that anything. I am also getting fuller on less which I’m attributing to the bloating.
Gender: Unknown yet, and no intuitive inklings yet either.
Labor signs: Um, no….
Belly button in or out? In. My belly button never popped with my last full-term pregnancy, so I’m guessing it won’t this time round either.
Happy or moody most of the time: Currently a good mix of both. I am extra sensitive though, so a lot of things can easily get me fired up, or bursting into tears. Take your pick.
