Workout Plan – July 2016

So in my previous post I realised that I had completely over committed with my workout goals by trying to attempt the Kayla Itsines BBG guides at the same time as the Ashy Bines 28 day booty challenge.  Throw in life’s little curve balls and it was all too much for me to stick to.

I have been doing the BBG guides for the past year, not necessarily following it to a ‘T’, but have been attempting at least two of the resistance sessions a week.  I never got the ‘bikini body’ transformation that you see on her Instagram, however I wasn’t following it religiously and I also never cared for my diet.  However, I did notice the lift in my fitness and strength levels.  I went from not being able to do a single push up on my toes, to being able to do 10 burpees in a row with proper push ups!  So definitely positive changes, but I feel like maybe I’m a little over it and just need a change.

So, for the month of July I have decided to only take on the Ashy Bines Booty challenge.  The aim of the game is to try and follow this program religiously, including the Fat Burning Walks. In addition, I aim to also complete a couple of the Ashy Bines ‘Finishers’ every second day.  See my boring little table below:
