Bump Update: Week 33


Baby stats: Baby is the size of a cauliflower or a junior tennis racquet.

Symptoms:  Nausea is pretty strong.  Hip and back pain is still there.  And I’m super, super full in my belly!

Total weight gain: Back down to 68.4kg.  I think because I get super full on very little these days, so probably not eating as much as I was before.

Maternity clothes: Wore my maternity jeans a couple of times this week as the weather was a bit cooler.. yay!

Stretch marks? I think I have some new ones on the top of my belly??  Unsure though, will find out once this baby is out.

Workouts: Got some walking in and quite a bit of squat days.  Need to start focusing more on labour friendly exercises and lots of walking and stretching.  It’s difficult when it’s super hot though.

Diet: Diet hasn’t been great.  I’m snacking a lot, but I’m also getting full on my snacks so not eating properly.  I’m going to really have to switch up my diet so that I’m getting enough nutrients to sustain me for the rest of this pregnancy.

Food cravings: No real cravings at the moment, but I’m not keen on full meals so have been snacking a lot.

Gender: Girl 🙂

Labor signs: Um, no….

Belly button in or out? In. My belly button never popped with my last full-term pregnancy, so I’m guessing it won’t this time round either.

Happy or moody most of the time: It’s been an emotional week.  I feel like my body is going through another hormone surge.. bugger.

Bump update: Week 32


Baby stats: Baby is the size of a pomelo or scooter board.

Symptoms:  Just the nausea and back/hip pain.  Oh, and the heat.

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 69.3kg at my GP appointment so 4kg up on my starting weight.  Doctor was very happy 🙂

Maternity clothes: It is super hot and we have no A/C, so basically living in my undies at the moment.

Stretch marks? No new ones.

Workouts: Tried to get a bit of walking in this week, but it is soo damn hot!  Been trying to get some squats in every other day too.

Diet: Have been better with the diet this week, just not good with the chocolate.

Food cravings:  Still craving the junk food.  We’ve been having a lot of McDonalds sundaes recently… oops.

Gender: Girl 🙂

Belly button in or out? In. My belly button never popped with my last full-term pregnancy, so I’m guessing it won’t this time round either.

Happy or moody most of the time: Pretty good considering the heat!  I’m soo over this heat.

Bump update: Week 31


Baby stats: Baby is the size of a romaine lettuce or a foam finger.. lol

Symptoms:  The back and hip pain is still there.  Have started feeling nauseous again, wonder if I/the baby is going through some sort of growth spurt as I also feel quite full in my uterus again.  This heat doesn’t help with any of it.

Total weight gain: Lost a bit more weight… weighed in at 68.5kg so 3.2kg up from my starting weight.

Maternity clothes: Just the undies.

Stretch marks? No new ones.

Workouts: Not a hell of a lot.

Diet: Diet has been ok this week.  Not great, but ok.

Food cravings: Craving junk food to be honest!!  Although I am trying to balance that with a salad here and there.

Bump Update: Week 30


Baby stats: Baby is the size of a cucumber, or a motorcycle helmet (I don’t know if I trust this one!).

Symptoms:  Have started to feel lightheaded and dizzy at times.  I think nubs is going through some sort of growth spurt so I’m feeling the side effects 😦

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 67.3kg.  2kg up from starting weight 🙂

Maternity clothes: Just the undies.  Still yet to find some decent maternity shorts… and I’m down to only 2 pairs that fit!  

Stretch marks? I think a couple of new ones.  I’ve been oiling and moisturising like crazy so it sucks that these things are inevitable for me 😦  Luckily the new ones are very, very faint.  So much so that I wonder if they were already there?  

Workouts: Not a lot to be honest.  The hot weather has been getting to me.

Diet: Diet has been ok this week.  A couple of ice creams here and there but nothing too crazy. 

Food cravings: No cravings.

Baby stats: Baby is the size of pineapple, or a barbie convertible.

Symptoms:  More and more growing pains.  The boobs have been a bit tender lately too.

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 68.1kg.  so 2.8kg up on my original weight.  Weight gain is definitely happening!!

Maternity clothes: Just rocking the maternity undies.

Stretch marks? No new ones, I think….

Workouts: A bit of walking and stretching.  One booty sessions.  Some squats here and there.  Really gotta make more of an effort from here on out.

Diet: Diet has been okay.. although I am feeling really sluggish from all the bad food, so trying to clean up the nutrition a bit so that I have more energy to deal with this pregnancy, and life in general.  Ha!

Food cravings: Nothing in particular.

Happy or moody most of the time: Another good week 🙂  Although the sluggishness kinda gets to me.  Guess I gotta be better with food this coming week otherwise I am going to have NO energy whatsoever.

Baby stats: Baby is the size of an coconut, or a rollerblade (?!).

Symptoms:  Just growing pains.. which is literally a pain.

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 67.3kg so 2kg up on my starting weight.  My Dr. will be happy 🙂

Maternity clothes: Just the undies 🙂

Stretch marks? No new ones, I think.  It’s hard to tell to be honest and I’m trying my hardest to monitor it as much as possible.  I don’t think there are any new ones anyway.

Workouts: Not a lot in the past week as it’s been Christmas.

Diet: Bad.  All the Christmas food!!!

Food cravings: Nothing in particular.

Baby stats: Baby is as heavy as a cauliflower and the size of a camping lantern.

Symptoms:  No real symptoms but starting to feel huge.  Baby is also very active, she kicks up a storm!

Total weight gain: Weighed in at 66.9kg so 1.6kg up on my starting weight.

Maternity clothes: Just the undies.  Still managing to fit into my clothes…. just!

Stretch marks? No new ones.

Workouts: Bit of walking and a bit of stretching, that’s about it.

Diet: Diet has been average.  Christmas won’t make the next week any easier either.

Food cravings: Nothing in particular.

Gender: Girl 🙂
